I am the Daniel I. Linzer Distinguished University Professor at Northwestern University and Founding Director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics (CIERA) My research centers on the stellar sources of gravitational radiation observed by LIGO and using them to explore and test general relativity.
