Affiliated Scientist

For a Ph.D. in physics (2019–2025) at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, I worked with Professor Ellen G. Zweibel and Professor Paul W. Terry.  For my postdoctoral research (2025–2028), I am jointly appointed at Columbia University via THEA Fellowship and at the Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics via SCEECS Fellowship.

I seek to understand and develop predictive, reduced models of turbulence and plasma processes, applicable to a broad range of astrophysics, geophysics, and nuclear fusion plasmas, by using analytical theory, statistical models, comprehensive massively-parallelized computer simulations, and modern observational constraints. Some of my current research interests include magnetohydrodynamics of neutron stars, accretion disks, and stars. My research spans fundamentals of plasma turbulence, dynamos, waves, and instabilities, which impact observed multi-messenger signals from compact objects.
