Postdoctoral Fellow
I am a theoretical astrophysicist working as a postdoctoral researcher at Perimeter Institute and the University of Guelph as a CITA National Fellow. I got my Ph.D. in 2022 from Universidad Nacional de La Plata in Argentina. My main research interest is high-energy astrophysics on strongly curved spacetimes. I have worked on a variety of topics from simulations of binary mergers, accretion onto black holes and neutron stars, and spacetime modeling. Within the SCEECS, I would like to investigate the plasma dynamics behind the production and emission of relativistic transients from neutron stars and black holes such as the origin of gamma-ray bursts.
