Warmest congratulations to Sasha Philippov on his well-deserved selection for the 2024 APS Thomas H. Stix award for Outstanding Early Career Contributions to Plasma Physics Research. The citation reads: "For seminal contributions to the theory and simulation of collisionless astrophysical plasmas, especially compact objects." We are very proud of you, Sasha.

SCEECS held a highly successful annual meeting at the Simons Foundation in NYC. There were 121 in person participants from around the world including all 10 PIs, 7 out of 9 co-Is and 6 out of 11 membe
