Sasha Chernoglazov
Ph.D. Student
I am a graduate student at the University of Maryland, College Park. Currently I am working on understanding ion acceleration and high-energy radiation during magnetic reconnection occurring near astrophysical compact objects. Another research interest is exploration of intermittency of pair discharges in pulsars, with implications for the surface thermal emission and microstructure of radio emission. I am excited to join SCEECS and extend my horizon to other problems in high-energy astrophysics.
