Dany Yaacoub

I am a graduate student at the University of Toronto. I completed my Master’s degree at Illinois State University, where I studied diffusion in dense, crystallized plasmas using molecular dynamics simulations. I am currently working on MHD simulations of a magnetic pulse launched from the surface of a magnetar. I am particularly interested in connecting the physics of a neutron star’s interior to its exterior, linking my Master’s research with my current work. Additionally I am interested in developing a better understanding of magnetic reconnection and neutron star observations.
