I am a theoretical astrophysicist who studies how plasma physical processes shape the life of energetic particles in galaxies. My work focuses on understanding how cosmic rays interact with galactic matter and the mechanisms that influence their transport. I am particularly interested in the resonant instabilities that mediate these interactions and in developing large-scale models to capture their effects. Alongside my theoretical work, I seek to advance numerical methods that expand the range and fidelity of plasma physical simulations.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in physics from Ruhr University Bochum and my Master’s degree from LMU Munich, before completing my PhD at the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam. I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where I continue to explore how energetic particles and plasmas co-evolve in astrophysical environments.
